About The Band
Hailing from Austin, TX and playing their own unique style dubbed "Electro Tribe", Trouble in The Streets has moved up quickly in the local and vibrant musical culture surrounding them. Mixing a blend of influences from Electronic, World, Hip-Hop, Rock, and R&B, Trouble in The Streets continues to leave a big musical impression everywhere they play.
Recently named Best New Austin Band for the Austin Music Awards through Austin Chronicle, and 2018 Black Fret Society band; Trouble in The Streets offers an eclectic experience that demolishes the fourth wall and empowers audiences to create their own story. They have shared stages with Gary Clark Jr. (Blackillac), George Clinton and The Parliament Funkadelic, Phantogram, Papadosio, Bob Moses, Fat Tony, EOTO, 2012 Grammy Award Winners Rebirth Brass Band, Dan The Automator, Octopus Project, Mobley, CAPYAC, Beach Fossils, Golden Dawn Arkestra and Beto Martinez of the Grammy Award winning project Grupo Fantasma.
